Programming a raspberry-pi to run as an Internet In a Box (IIAB) server hosting an extensive library of digital media such as Wikipedia, World Maps, Kahn Academy, Project Gutenberg, TEDTalks, Stack Exchanges, and much more to come. The server has the capability to produce its own local WiFi network allowing not only the raspberry-pi to display any of the hosted media, but be viewable by anyone with a WiFi capable device within range. This project has many applications from providing basic education through college level math to entertainment all in an off grid package.

Currently, I have encapsulated the raspberry-pi in a secure pelican case containing a small display running on AC power. I have a slot behind the screen for a battery pack compatible with solar charging. Next I plan to create a wooden bezel to hide the 3D printed mount system and wiring.
